Dzielnica Waterfront w Gdyni dzięki nowej inwestycji Yacht Park projektu gdyńskiej pracowni Arch-Deco przeszło dużą metamorfozę. Dla potrzeb Agencji Rozwoju Gdyni, miałam przyjemność przygotować wystawę, która miała premierę podczas Weekendu Architektury. Na wystawie nie zabrakło kadrów Sea Towers, wysokościowca z 2009 projektu Andrzeja Kapuścika oraz Hotelu Marriott i sąsiadującego z nim biurowca Banku PKO projektu pracowni Fort Targowski. W moich pracach szukałam naturalnych ram dla prezentowanych budynków, innej perspektywy, chciałam aby kadry wpisały się w temat tegorocznego festiwalu – Iluzji.
The Waterfront district in Gdynia has undergone a major metamorphosis thanks to the new Yacht Park development by Arch-Deco. For the Gdynia Development Agency, I had the pleasure of preparing an exhibition that premiered during the Architecture Weekend. The exhibition included frames of Sea Towers, a high-rise building from 2009 designed by Andrzej Kapuscik, as well as the Marriott Hotel and the neighboring PKO Bank office building designed by the Fort Targowski studio. In my works I was looking for natural frames for the presented buildings, a different perspective, I wanted the frames to fit in with the theme of this year’s festival – Illusion.
